Mr Siba Narayan Panda comes with decades of experience as a regulator and a banker. He has held leadership positions over four decades and has worked as the Officer-in-Charge of RBI, Jaipur (2012) and retired as Chief General Manager-in-Charge of RBI, Belapur (2018). He is a Payment Systems (both large value & retail- including regulations 8& operating guidelines) & IT Project  Management specialist. His expertise includes negotiation, IT & Cyber Security, Audit, Compliance BCP/DR policy implementation, Human Resource Management, Training& Communication, Team Building, Currency Management, Banking Supervision and Forex Management (particularly Gold Reserves), Digital Transformation& Change Management, Central Bank Digital Currency & Crypto Currency, Quantum Computing & Quantum Cryptography, promotion of financial inclusion &financial literacy & digital transactions, consumer education & protection, various aspects of the Indian Economy with thrust on the Indian Banking & Financial sector and the roles & responsibilities of RBI, India’s central bank.

He also worked with Paytm Payments Bank as Chief Information Security Officer. He set up the Information Security department with a strength of 30 cyber security professionals. He implemented the Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) Tool, Data Classification Tool, Logical Access Management (LAM) System, Change Management System (CAB) and Security Operations Centre (SOC) in the bank. Further, the implementation of the Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) tools for network & end-points, Honeypot Solution, Identity Access Management System (laDM including single sign-on), Network Behavioral Analysis System, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) system and Mobile Device Management (MDM) system was at an advanced stage of completion. Paytm Payments Bank was made PCI DSS certified both as an acquirer and also as an issuer. During his tenure the bank also obtained ISO 27001 certification.
